Hanseatic Global Terminals appoints new MD of CNMP Le Havre

Hanseatic Global Terminals has appointed Benoit Klein as the new Managing Director of CNMP Le Havre, effective September 1, 2025.

Klein brings nearly three decades of experience in shipping and terminal operations. He has held senior roles with CMA Terminals, DP World, and Louis Dreyfus. Throughout his career, he has led projects to improve efficiency, strengthen multimodal transport, and build capabilities in Europe and Southeast Asia.

“We are delighted to welcome Benoit to our leadership team,” said Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals. “His expertise will be key to driving the next phase of growth at CNMP Le Havre. I also want to thank Arnaud Hourdin for his efforts in enhancing performance and building synergies at the terminal.”

Eric Barbé, President of Seafrigo Group, added: “The appointment of Benoit marks an important step in our journey. His forward-thinking approach and focus on excellence will help shape the next chapter for CNMP Le Havre.”

Klein said he was excited to join. “I look forward to working with the team and building on the strong foundation already in place.”

Hourdin, who has led the terminal for the past two years, will continue his career within the Seafrigo Group.

The appointment follows Hanseatic Global Terminals’ acquisition of a 60% majority stake in CNMP Le Havre earlier this year. It marks a significant step in the terminal’s development and growth ambitions.
