Hainan Port Group breaks ground on new Macun Port’s terminal

Hainan Port Group has started construction works to upgrade China’s Macun Port, which is located on Hainan Island, near Haikou.

The Hainan Macun Port Phase III includes the building of a new terminal with 1.67 million TEU capacity. The new terminal will have two container berths and three multipurpose berths.

The project is set to become operational in 2027, according to the latest DynaLiners report.
