Hai An Container Transport Co., Ltd. (HACT), a subsidiary of Hai An Transport and Stevedoring JSC, has been officially named the general agent of Indonesian carrier Meratus Line in Vietnam.
Under the new partnership, HACT will focus on developing Meratus’ trade routes connecting Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City with Dili (Timor-Leste) and Papua New Guinea (Lae and Motukea), via transshipment hubs in Jakarta and Surabaya.
The collaboration marks a key step in strengthening the global agency networks of both companies and enhancing their integrated logistics offerings. It also expands regional connectivity and reinforces HACT’s position in the international maritime sector.
