Gulftainer strengthens ties with freight forwarders in South China

Gulftainer held a significant meeting with key traders and freight forwarders in Shenzhen, China reinforcing its desire to strengthen trade and logistics ties with South China’s dynamic freight forwarding community.

The Shenzhen International Freight Forwarders Association and the Qingdao Logistics Network attended the meeting, which introduced them to Gulftainer’s value proposition in its flagship trade gateways in the Northern Emirates of the country, Sharjah Container Terminal (SCT) and Khorfakkan Container Terminal (KCT).

The discussions went on to cover the many opportunities given by Gulftainer’s Momentum Logistics (ML), notably in warehousing and transportation, which serve as key components of an integrated distribution centre.

Attendees discussed the resilience of trade volume originating in Shenzhen and the Pearl River Delta area, which has expanded its reach to the UAE and throughout the Indian Ocean region.

Andrew Hoad, chief commercial officer of Gulftainer, commented, “Our meeting with the Shenzhen International Freight Forwarders Association and the Qingdao Logistics Network underscores our commitment to nurturing mutually beneficial trade partnerships. With our state-of-the-art supply chain and logistics facilities and strategically situated terminals, Gulftainer is ideally poised to facilitate the seamless movement of cargo and enhance connectivity between South China and the UAE through Sharjah Container Terminal and Khorfakkan Container Terminals.”
