Greek police seizes over 60kg of cocaine from container at Piraeus port

More than 60 kilogrammes of cocaine were found in a container at the port of Piraeus and were confiscated by the Greek police.

According to local media, three Greek citizens have been arrested.

The cocaine was hidden in parcels in the container, which was unloaded from a boxship that had departed from South America.

A press conference has been scheduled for 3 p.m. (Greece time), in which the Director of Attica Security and the representative of Greek Police will give more information about the incident.
