GEODIS has announced several key appointments to boost its European leadership.
Amaury Valicon has been named Executive Vice President Europe, effective November 1. He replaces Thomas Kraus. Valicon, who joined GEODIS in 2017, previously served as CFO and COO. He will continue to report directly to CEO Marie-Christine Lombard and remain part of the COMEX.
Marc Meier, a logistics veteran with more than 30 years of experience at DACHSER, Senator International, Fr. Meyer’s Sohn, and Kühne+Nagel, takes over as Managing Director Germany-Austria-Switzerland on October 1.
On the same day, Maurizio Bortolan, formerly with BRT (Geopost), MAERSK, and Number 1, steps in as Managing Director Italy.
Both Meier and Bortolan will report to Valicon. GEODIS says these moves reinforce its European operations and support its growth strategy.
