GEODIS inaugurates new office in Guadalajara to expand operations in Mexico

GEODIS has officially opened a new office in Guadalajara, Mexico, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing expansion across the country.

This new facility supports the growing demand for GEODIS’ freight forwarding services and will now serve as the home of its Americas Center of Excellence, a strategic hub for key logistics operations across the region.

The Center of Excellence hosts GEODIS’ largest Shared Services Center in the Americas, supporting various business lines in areas such as accounting, operational logistics, supply chain engineering, and control tower operations.

Miguel Muñoz, Managing Director of GEODIS in Mexico, noted that this expansion not only strengthens the freight forwarding capabilities but also adds new, integrated logistics solutions to better serve the customers.

The company operates direct air cargo routes from China and Hong Kong into Guadalajara twice weekly, and benefits from strong inland connections to the Port of Manzanillo and commercial corridors to the United States and Canada.

The new office was built with a focus on sustainability and employee well-being.

This addition brings GEODIS’ total presence in Mexico to 14 buildings covering over 148,000 square meters. The company now employs over 2,700 people in Mexico, including 442 staff members based at the new Guadalajara office.
