GEODIS is accelerating its growth in the aerospace and defense sectors, responding to rapid changes in the global environment and increasing logistics demands. The company aims to become the preferred partner for both industrial and institutional players in these strategic markets. To lead this effort, Brigadier General Arnaud Weixler (Ret.) has been appointed head of GEODIS’s aerospace and defense operations.
The Group is committed to establishing a long-term presence in the sector, particularly by supporting the evolving needs of France’s Defense Industrial and Technological Base (BITD). Modernization programs and the accelerated renewal of military equipment are driving strong growth, creating complex logistics challenges that GEODIS is well positioned to address.
GEODIS already supports numerous aerospace and defense clients with a full range of services. Its offerings include rapid Aircraft on Ground (AOG) logistics, oversized and special transportation, high-value warehousing, and secure supply chain management. The company’s global and local presence allows it to meet demanding requirements efficiently.
A key reference is KNDS, for which GEODIS inaugurated a state-of-the-art automated logistics facility in Montbeugny, central France, in 2023. The facility demonstrates GEODIS’s ability to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions for leading sector players.
Brigadier General Arnaud Weixler brings extensive international experience and deep knowledge of sector-specific challenges. He is a NATO Defense College alumnus and has held senior roles within NATO and the French Army. He has led logistics operations both domestically and abroad, collaborating closely with industry and public entities.
With this leadership, GEODIS aims to strengthen its position and continue providing critical support to the aerospace and defense industries.
