GEODIS has created a new department dedicated to artificial intelligence as part of its innovation strategy.
David-Olivier Tarac has been appointed Executive Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and will lead the new unit. Tarac joined GEODIS in 2022 and became Group CFO in 2023.
Carole Besnard will replace him as Group Chief Financial Officer. Besnard has been Deputy CFO since 2018 and has more than 25 years of finance experience, including roles at Keolis and SNCF.
GEODIS says the AI department will simplify processes, improve performance, and accelerate the company’s transformation, driving sustainable growth for customers worldwide.
