Gatehouse Maritime’s OceanIO division has teamed up with Riege Software to bring real-time container and vessel tracking directly into Scope, Riege’s transport management system. The partnership aims to give freight forwarders sharper, faster insights into ocean freight operations.
The integration was completed quickly thanks to OceanIO’s clear, well-documented API. Additionally, both companies say the smooth process came from a shared focus on quality, clarity, and value for logistics professionals.
“This collaboration felt natural from the start,” said Tobias Riege, CEO of Riege Software. “We share a solution-oriented mindset and the goal of helping customers work smarter.”
OceanIO’s strength lies in its narrow focus on ocean freight visibility. This allows the team to maintain high data quality, develop features quickly, and adapt to customer needs.
“We don’t go wide, we go deep,” said Kenney S. Christiansen, CEO of Gatehouse Maritime. “Our size lets us work closely with customers, align our roadmap to real-world needs, and build trust.”
Also, with the integration, Scope users can now track containers and vessels without switching systems. All movement data appears directly in Scope, supporting better planning, transparency, and fewer disruptions.
Both companies say the partnership is built on mutual respect and a long-term approach, with technology serving as the foundation for strong working relationships.
