Freightos launches CEO succession

Freightos has announced a CEO succession process as founder and Chief Executive Officer Zvi Schreiber prepares to step down from his role on January 31, 2026.

Schreiber will remain involved with the company as a non-executive member of the board of directors. He will continue to provide strategic guidance as Freightos advances its digital freight pricing, procurement, and booking platform.

To ensure continuity, the board has appointed Chief Financial Officer Pablo Pinillos as Interim CEO. A global executive search is underway to identify a permanent successor to lead the company through its next phase of growth.

Freightos’ board said the transition reflects the company’s evolution as it scales its operations and deepens its focus on customer experience and operational discipline.

The company continues to report strong momentum. Recent developments include new enterprise agreements with several of the world’s top ten freight forwarders, expansion into ocean freight, and an annualized run rate of 1.7 million bookings. Freightos now processes more than $1 billion in annual gross booking value through its platform.
