Rosatom-controlled FESCo has officially assumed management control of Kamchatka Shipping Company (KASCO), which is owned by Russia’s Federal Agency for State Property Management, as well as Petropavlovsk-Kamchatka Commercial Sea Port, the operator of the namesake port.
KASCO currently operates a fleet of nine small container and multipurpose vessels with capacities ranging between 500 and 900 TEU. These ships are primarily deployed on routes linking Vostochny and Vladivostok with ports across the Kamchatka Peninsula, supporting regional logistics and coastal trade.
According to DynaLiners, this management shift strengthens FESCo’s operational influence in Russia’s Far Eastern maritime sector, enhancing its position in coastal and intermodal shipping activities.
