Evonik appoints Kuehne+Nagel as lead logistics provider for Asia-Pacific operations

Kuehne+Nagel has signed a Lead Logistics Provider agreement with Evonik, a global leader in specialty chemicals headquartered in Germany.

The partnership aims to strengthen Evonik’s transport management strategy and enhance operational efficiency across the Asia-Pacific region.

Under the agreement, Kuehne+Nagel will oversee air, sea, and road transport across key markets including Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, India, and Southeast Asia.

Kuehne+Nagel will utilize its global network and advanced digital solutions to streamline operations and optimize costs across Evonik’s supply chain.

The collaboration includes the integration of Evonik’s existing logistics systems, enabling standardized, digitized processes and real-time visibility of shipments. By implementing a cohesive transport management strategy, the initiative aims to reduce transportation spend while elevating service levels.
