Ever Given partially refloated

Convoys on the Suez Canal can resume once the refloated Ever Given has been towed away by tugs, according to the agency company GAC.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]The beached 20,000TEU Evergreen container vesselĀ  became stranded, blocking the Suez Canal on 23 March has been freed by tugs, said GAC.

A reported engine failure saw the vessel run aground, burying its bulbous bow into the canal’s bank, complicating efforts to refloat the vessel.
