Ellerman City Liners has expanded its partnership with CMA CGM by taking slots on the carrier’s Northwest Europe/UK–Spain–Portugal PGW service. The slots are marketed under Ellerman’s iNEX2 brand, strengthening its offering on the Iberian trade.
This development builds on the existing cooperation between the two carriers on the parallel PGE/iNEX loop, where each contributes one of the two 1,400-TEU ships deployed.
The PGE/iNEX service connects London (Tilbury), Rotterdam, Setubal, and Leixoes before returning to London. The new PGW/iNEX2 loop, operated with a 900-TEU vessel, links Dublin, Liverpool, Setubal, Leixoes, and back to Liverpool. The PGW loop also calls at Le Havre and Ferrol, though Ellerman does not offer these calls.
The move gives Ellerman customers broader coverage of Iberian ports while enhancing sailing frequency and reliability between Northwest Europe and the Iberian Peninsula.
