Ellerman City Liners has announced the relaunch of its IPEX2 service, reinstating the route as a dedicated shuttle connection between Hull

Ellerman City Liners has announced the relaunch of its IPEX2 service, reinstating the route as a dedicated shuttle connection between Hull in the United Kingdom and Gdynia in Poland.

The service, which had been suspended earlier, will now operate with a single vessel of approximately 325 TEU capacity, providing a direct link between the two ports and strengthening regional feeder connectivity in Northern Europe.

Under the renewed configuration, the IPEX2 service will run as a regular shuttle between Hull and Gdynia, supporting trade flows across the North Sea and Baltic Sea regions.

In its previous configuration, the service operated from Teesport. That port is now served through Ellerman City Liners’ newly introduced Baltex service, which provides alternative coverage for cargo previously handled through the earlier IPEX2 rotation.

The relaunch reflects Ellerman City Liners’ continued efforts to refine its short-sea shipping network and improve operational efficiency while maintaining reliable connections between key UK and Baltic ports.
