Ellerman City Liners includes Bilbao in new Europe-USEC service

The Port of Bilbao will be included in Ellerman City Liners’ new service connecting Europe and the United States East Coast.

The new service, which will commence in mid-February, will have the following rotation:

Bilbao (Spain), Antwerp (Belgium), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Hamburg (Germany), Tilbury (UK), New York (US), Wilmington (US), Jacksonville (US)

The vessels of the British shipping company will dock at the CSP Iberian Bilbao terminal.

The Spanish port said that with this direct connection, transit times will be reduced to 15 days for imports and 18 days for exports between the Bilbao and New York markets.

The service will be covered by the vessels MSC Mara and Mona Lisa, each with a capacity in excess of 3,500 TEUs, while the container ships Cape Hellas, Windswept and Buxfavourite are expected to enhance the service in the near future.
