Grimaldi Group has inserted Durban into its Far East–West Africa Deepsea rotation, strengthening links between Asia, Southern Africa and Nigeria. The service is operated by four ConRo vessels of up to 2,500 TEU and 4,700 lane metres, offering sailings roughly every fifteen days.
The revised loop now runs Ningbo, Taicang, Durban and Lagos (Tin Can) before returning to Ningbo. The addition of Durban provides shippers with a more direct link into Southern Africa’s largest container gateway.
