DSV has appointed Maciej Walenda as CEO of Contract Logistics and a member of the Group Executive Committee, effective 1 October. He succeeds Albert-Derk Bruin, who is leaving the company after 15 years to pursue a career outside DSV.
Walenda joined DSV in 2013 and has held several senior roles, including Managing Director Poland, EVP for Central and Eastern Europe, and most recently Regional CEO for Contract Logistics in Europe.
Group COO Brian Ejsing welcomed the appointment: “Maciej brings deep experience and a proven ability to mobilise teams and deliver results in challenging markets. We are confident he will lead Contract Logistics into its next chapter.” He also thanked Bruin for his long-standing contributions, calling them “instrumental in shaping the business.”
Walenda said he is excited to take on the role during a period of expansion. “With integration, we are consolidating facilities, adding colleagues worldwide, and strengthening our ability to meet customer needs. I am proud to lead the division at this pivotal time,” he said.
