DSV and UNICEF have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership, with a stronger focus on delivering humanitarian aid to children affected by emergencies worldwide.
The enhanced agreement will allow DSV to provide more in-kind flights, improving the speed and reach of life-saving supplies to countries facing crises.
The partnership, structured around three pillars reaching every child, responding to emergencies, and building stronger supply chains, aims to combine immediate relief efforts with long-term resilience.
Strengthening the humanitarian action pillar, this new phase ensures that essential medical equipment, shelter, and other critical supplies can be delivered faster and more efficiently at a time when global needs are intensifying and resources are under pressure.
Now entering the second year of their three-year partnership, DSV’s expanded role will help UNICEF reach more children at crucial moments.
Carla Haddad Mardini, UNICEF’s Director of Private Fundraising and Partnerships, highlighted the importance of collaboration saying that the partnership with DSV has been instrumental in helping respond quickly and effectively, providing vital resources that allow them to reach children when their needs are most urgent.
Jens H. Lund, Group CEO of DSV, underlined the company’s commitment saying that by combining our global network, expertise, and capabilities with UNICEF’s mandate, we help overcome logistical challenges and ensure timely delivery of supplies even to the most remote locations.
Preparedness is central to effective humanitarian response. With pre-arranged in-kind flight agreements, DSV enables UNICEF to act quickly in the first days of an emergency, ensuring that vulnerable children gain equitable and timely access to essential supplies when they need them most.
This expanded cooperation marks a significant step in UNICEF’s ongoing efforts to reach children in crisis situations, while reinforcing DSV’s role as a key logistics partner in global humanitarian action.
