DSV and UNICEF expand strategic partnership to strengthen emergency supply delivery

DSV and UNICEF have announced the expansion of their strategic partnership, reinforcing their joint commitment to accelerating the delivery of life-saving supplies during humanitarian emergencies.

Now entering the second year of their three-year agreement, the expanded partnership will see DSV increase its support for UNICEF through additional in-kind air freight services during emergencies.

This extended commitment will enable the timely and effective delivery of critical supplies to more countries and children at a time when global needs are urgent and resources increasingly constrained.

Carla Haddad Mardini, UNICEF Director of Private Fundraising and Partnerships praised the progress has been made possible through the generosity of partners like DSV, whose support has played a vital role in helping children with essential aid.

Since the beginning of their collaboration in September 2024, DSV has provided UNICEF with in-kind flights that have delivered over 85 tonnes of life-saving supplies to seven countries affected by emergencies.

Highlights include DSV’s role in UNICEF’s first airlift response to the Lebanon emergency in 2024, and the transport of 30 tonnes of medical equipment and tents to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to support the mpox outbreak response.

Through pre-arranged in-kind flight agreements, DSV’s support enables rapid response and efficient deployment of supplies within the crucial early days of a crisis.

This approach ensures that vulnerable children receive timely access to medical, nutritional, and shelter-related supplies when every hour counts.
