DSV and UNICEF deepen collaboration to speed humanitarian relief for children

Global transport and logistics group DSV and UNICEF have expanded their strategic alliance, sharpening the focus on rapid humanitarian response for children caught in crises.

The enhanced agreement one year into a three-year partnership boosts the number of in-kind air-freight services DSV will provide when emergencies strike, reinforcing the partnership’s three pillars: getting help to every child, responding swiftly to emergencies, and building stronger supply chains for the future.

Since September 2024, DSV’s donated flights have moved more than 85 tonnes of emergency supplies to seven countries.

Jens H. Lund, DSV Group CEO, emphasized the company’s commitment saying that through the combination of the global network and logistics expertise with UNICEF’s mandate, can overcome supply-chain hurdles and reach even the most remote communities.

Pre-arranged in-kind flight agreements, such as those provided by DSV, are critical for rapid deployment in the first days of an emergency when children’s lives are most at risk.

The expanded partnership will help ensure that essential health, nutrition, and shelter items continue to arrive wherever and whenever they are needed, advancing UNICEF’s mission to safeguard vulnerable children worldwide.
