DP World Posorja joins Portchain Connect

DP Word-operated Deep-Water port in Posorja has implemented Portchain Connect to simplify the berth alignment process with container lines.

The Deep-Water Port in Posorja will use Portchain Connect aiming to increase the quality and speed of their berth alignment with customers through digital handshakes and secure data sharing.

Portchain Connect is expected to enable Ecuador’s major port to receive real-time schedule, move count updates directly from carrier systems, and respond and counter propose quickly to align the vessel schedule with the terminal berth plan.

“Portchain’s commitment to data collaboration aligns perfectly with our goal to improve overall supply chain visibility, ensuring everyone involved can make informed decisions,” stated Carlos Merino, CEO of DP World Ecuador, Peru & Colombia.
