DHshipbuilding, the leading builder of Suezmax tankers, has started 2026 strong by securing orders for two 157,000 DWT crude oil tankers from new customer Nordic American Tankers (NAT).

This marks NAT’s first order with DHshipbuilding, highlighting the yard’s reputation for high-quality construction and reliable delivery.

The new vessels will feature the latest hull design, boosting fuel efficiency and operational performance by over 3%. They will also meet IMO Tier III emissions standards and EEDI Phase 3 energy efficiency requirements.

A DHshipbuilding official said: “Suezmax tankers are our core strength. We will continue focusing on this vessel type and securing orders around our core products in 2026.”

The two ships are scheduled for delivery in October and November 2028.
