DHL Supply Chain appoints new CEO for Europe

DHL Supply Chain has appointed Rainer Haag as CEO for Europe. He succeeds Hendrik Venter, who takes over as global CEO and joins the DHL Group Management Board.

Haag will oversee 16 Central European markets. He reports directly to Venter.

Haag joined DHL in 2010. He has held senior roles across Europe, including CEO DHL Supply Chain Germany & Alps. In that role, he expanded the Florstadt healthcare hub into a backbone of DHL’s global Health Logistics network.

“Robust supply chains are now central to business strategy,” Haag said. “I’m excited to build on the strong foundation with our customers.”

Venter called Haag “the ideal leader” thanks to his record in growth, operations, and team building.

Katrin Hölter will replace Haag as CEO Germany & Alps. She has been with DHL since 2003 and most recently served as COO DHL Supply Chain EMEA.
