DHL Supply Chain has announced a series of key executive appointments to strengthen its global customer leadership network and further drive customer-centric growth.
In his new global role, Andries Retief will spearhead the development of next-generation supply chain solutions, enhance strategic partnerships, and prioritize customer engagement worldwide. A central part of his remit will be ensuring that customer needs are consistently embedded into strategy and execution, while tailoring solutions to local markets.
As part of this expanded leadership framework, Marco Brüggemann has been named Chief Customer Officer for DHL Supply Chain Europe, while Bremer Pauw has been appointed Chief Customer Officer for the Middle East & Africa.
Brüggemann, who joined DHL in 2002, has held strategic and commercial leadership positions across Latin America and Europe. Most recently, he played a pivotal role in driving e-commerce supply chain transformations in Germany and the Alps region, enabling customers to expand rapidly in omni-channel retail.
Pauw, currently Managing Director for Africa, will be based in Dubai while continuing his Africa responsibilities. With extensive experience in leading high-performing teams and delivering logistics solutions across complex markets, he will now lead commercial strategy and customer development across the MEA region.
Working closely with Retief and their counterparts across Asia Pacific, North America, Latin America, and the UK & Ireland, Brüggemann and Pauw will ensure DHL customers experience resilient, sustainable, and seamless supply chains worldwide.
