The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has cleared the merger between Evri and DHL eCommerce UK without conditions. The deal is expected to be completed shortly, once all regulatory approvals are finalized.

The new Evri Group will become the UK’s largest parcel and mail delivery business. It will combine more than 30,000 couriers and van drivers, 12,000 staff, and a fleet of 8,000 vehicles. Together, the group will deliver over 1 billion parcels and 1 billion letters each year, with the addition of UK Mail.

DHL eCommerce UK will rebrand as Evri Premium in 2026. This service will remain a separate network, focused on fast and secure deliveries of high-value and large items.

Martijn De Lange, CEO of Evri, called the move “a pivotal moment” in the company’s 50-year history. He said the merger would create a parcel delivery business “of significant scale” and expand Evri’s international reach through DHL’s global network.

Pablo Ciano, CEO of DHL eCommerce at DHL Group, added that the deal will “reshape the landscape of logistics” in the UK, offering customers a seamless and secure delivery experience.

The new group will combine Evri’s flexible courier model with DHL’s premium and cross-border expertise, aiming to provide greater choice for businesses and consumers alike.
