Summer’s demand for limes put the market under pressure

The lime market was difficult this summer. It has now stabilised somewhat. “How the market will further develop greatly depends on the volumes sent this way. Limes are a typical summer product. However, weeks with more than 180 containers, meant there was too much of a good thing this summer”, says Rene Bouman of Dutch importers, FMI.
