Direct ChassisLink, Inc. (DCLI) has opened a new dedicated chassis area at Port Houston’s Bayport Terminal. The site gives motor carriers direct access to road-ready equipment right where they need it.
The new footprint simplifies operations. DCLI organizes, inspects, and maintains its pool chassis on-site, eliminating the need for drivers to search across scattered areas or multiple gates. A dedicated drop-off space also makes returns faster and easier.
Motor carriers now benefit from more accurate inventory tracking. DCLI has upgraded its website tools so available chassis counts better reflect real-time conditions.
“We heard from Houston-based motor carriers that finding a reliable, good order pool chassis was a challenge,” said Phil Wolfe, acting COO at DCLI. “Our new footprint at Bayport Terminal solves that problem. It saves drivers time and cuts out the hassle of searching for a ready-to-roll chassis. It’s another way we’re working to be their chassis partner of choice.”
The launch underscores DCLI’s focus on improving efficiency at key U.S. gateways.
