Davies Turner has entered a strategic partnership with Manitoulin Global Forwarding (MGF) to expand and enhance its ocean freight services between the UK and Canada. Effective July 2025, the collaboration will improve service reach, transit speeds, and supply chain efficiency across both countries.
This move aligns with Canada’s decision to ratify Britain’s accession to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), which is expected to spur bilateral trade and logistics demand.
MGF brings over 60 years of transportation experience and operates a vast network across North America. The partnership will offer weekly LCL and FCL services between Liverpool and Montreal, connecting to wider Canadian and U.S. markets.
Tony Cole, Director of Ocean Freight at Davies Turner, called the deal “an exciting chapter” that positions both companies to better serve growing UK–Canada trade flows with faster, more reliable ocean freight solutions.
