CStar Line is set to introduce a new service connecting China to the Red Sea, expanding its regional network with the launch of the FRS1 loop, according to Alphaliner.
The new route will operate twice monthly using a fleet of four vessels ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 TEU. The port rotation includes Ningbo, Shanghai, Guangzhou (Nansha), Jeddah, Aqaba, Sokhna, and back to Ningbo, with select sailings omitting Aqaba and Sokhna.
The move enhances China–Red Sea connectivity at a time of growing regional demand and reflects CStar’s ongoing strategy to build flexible, targeted trade links in underserved corridors.
