CStar Line and STF Shipping reportedly cease operations

According to DynaLiners, UAE-based CStar Line and its affiliate STF Shipping are reportedly winding down their operations and have stopped accepting new bookings, as first reported by Infranews.

Both companies are said to be facing serious financial difficulties, including outstanding debts of around RUB 862 million (USD 10.9 million) owed to Vostochny Stevedoring Company in unpaid port fees.

The developments suggest a likely cessation of commercial activity for the two carriers, which had been active in regional and intra-Asia trades.
