CSP Abu Dhabi and Midea partner to build overseas warehouse transit center in Middle East

Cosco Shipping Ports (CSP) Abu Dhabi Terminal and CSP Abu Dhabi CFS in the context of carrier-port cooperation, global network expansion and digital transformation, aim to develop a more integrated supply chain operation model and a more well-rounded digital business.

In view of the above, CSP Abu Dhabi and Midea Group have agreed to jointly build Midea’s overseas warehouse transit center in the Middle East.

This action is expected to make the access of Media products to the international market easier and smarter, according to a statement.

More specifically, on 6 July, as a strategic partner of COSCO, Midea sent a delegation led by its vice president Wang Jianguo, who also serves as the president of Media International, to visit CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal and CSP Abu Dhabi CFS.

The two sides discussed and reached a consensus on the cooperation plan to utilise CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal and CFS to build Midea’s overseas warehouse transit center in the Middle East.
