Crowley Shipping has appointed new leaders to advance its role in LNG transportation and microgrid development across the U.S., Caribbean, and Central America.
Jackie Gonsalez has been named Vice President of Advanced Energy, leading strategic initiatives in LNG distribution and microgrid projects, with a focus on Puerto Rico and other high-growth markets. Gonsalez previously served as VP of Commercial Operations for the Shipping unit and VP of Business Development for Crowley Logistics.
Tucker Gilliam, Vice President of Fleet Operations, will expand his remit to oversee LNG bunkering and bulk distribution, including the operation of Progress, North America’s largest LNG bunkering barge, and the U.S.-flagged LNG carrier American Energy.
“These key appointments reflect our strategic focus on accelerating growth in advanced energy solutions and LNG transportation,” said James C. Fowler, SVP and General Manager of Crowley Shipping.
Crowley’s LNG initiatives also include LNG-powered containership deployment, LNG truck and ISO container delivery facilities, and LNG-powered microgrid development in the Caribbean.
