Covid-19 hits MSC Branka crew

The 17,500 TEU MSC Branka remains at anchorage after its arrival at the Chilean port of San Antonio on 4 January, because at least one of the crew members was found to have covid symptoms, according to Maritime Bulletin.

The 2016-built mega vessel was to offload 1,013 containers and load 600 boxes during its call at the Port of San Antonio. The vessel was scheduled to depart the Chilean port on 5 January, at 15:30 local time.

However, the container ship is in quarantine and no information is still available about its departure from the port.
