Covid crisis sees leading senior lines blank sailings

Coronavirus continues to affect the world container shipping market with three of the top carriers implementing additional blank sailings in May and June.

Maersk has announced ABX service void sailings due to a lack of demand in the Far East Asia and the Middle East as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

MSC has also encouraged its customers to continue to place bookings for the shipments from SAEC to the Gulf.
