COSCO Shipping Lines on 5 April launched the first dedicated service for shipping containerised bitumen between China and Thailand.
The bitumen, loaded in 20 tank containers and placed on the 2021-built 1,170 TEU GH River, was shipped from Yangpu port on Hainan Island to Thailand’s Laem Chabang, to meet bitumen demand in Southeast Asia.
