COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers has taken a major step to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia with the signing of a new joint venture agreement in Dammam.
The agreement brings together COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers (Southeast Asia), COSCO SHIPPING (West Asia), and Saudi Ports Services & Storage Co. (PSS). The partnership marks the launch of the company’s first integrated, multi-functional supply chain hub in the Kingdom.
The new hub strengthens logistics cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia. It also reflects COSCO SHIPPING’s long-term commitment to the Saudi market. The project aligns closely with Saudi Vision 2030.
Once operational, the Dammam hub will enhance supply chain resilience across the Middle East. It will support more balanced and sustainable global trade. It will also deepen economic cooperation between China and Saudi Arabia.
COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers plans to continue expanding across Saudi Arabia and West Asia. The company will optimize fleet deployment and further strengthen regional network connectivity.
