COSCO SHIPPING and TEDA-Nangang have inaugurated a state-of-the-art hazardous materials (hazmat) logistics hub in Tianjin, marking a new era in safe and efficient hazmat operations for the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region.
The new facility integrates cutting-edge technology and advanced logistics solutions to set a benchmark in the handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials. Among its key features are AI-powered operations supported by Digital Twin technology, enabling real-time simulation, monitoring, and optimization of logistics processes.
The hub offers smart temperature control systems for sensitive materials, ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance. Spanning over 30,000 square meters, it includes Class A, B, and C hazmat warehouses designed to accommodate a wide range of hazardous goods.
The facility also provides smart parking for over 450 vehicles and integrated one-stop storage and transport services, streamlining the entire supply chain from storage to delivery.
