COSCO Shipping boosts Transatlantic services

COSCO Shipping announced an upgrade to its Trans-Atlantic service suite, effective February 2025. COSCO SHIPPING Lines will operate a comprehensive and sophisticated four-loop Trans-Atlantic service between North Europe and North America.

This enhancement ensures more reliable transit times and tailored services for North Europe to North America’s East Coast, North, South, and Gulf markets. It also provides improved coverage, connecting 66 major key ports along this trade route.

The port rotations for the upgraded services are as follows:

TAE – Atlantic North East Coast Service

Southampton, United Kingdom > Antwerp, Belgium > Rotterdam, Netherlands > Bremerhaven, Germany > Le Havre, France > New York, United States > Norfolk, United States > Baltimore, United States > Southampton, United Kingdom

TAX – Atlantic South East Coast Service

Le Havre, France > Rotterdam, Netherlands > Antwerp, Belgium > Bremerhaven, Germany > Charleston, United States > Savannah, United States > Le Havre, France

EAG – Atlantic Mexico/Gulf Coast Service
Southampton (United Kingdom) > Rotterdam (Netherlands) > Antwerp (Belgium) > Bremerhaven (Germany) > Veracruz (Mexico) > Altamira (Mexico) > Houston (United States) > New Orleans (United States) > Southampton (United Kingdom)

In addition, a brand new all-water service linking North Europe and US West Coast ports through the Panama Canal will be launched simultaneously.

The port rotation for this service is as follows:

ELSA – Atlantic West Coast Service

Southampton (United Kingdom) > Le Havre (France) > Rotterdam (Netherlands) > Hamburg (Germany) > Antwerp (Belgium) > Miami (United States) > Cartagena (Colombia) > Rodman (Panama) > Los Angeles (United States) > Oakland (United States) > Rodman (Panama) > Caucedo (Dominican Republic) > Southampton (United Kingdom)

Pending regulatory approvals from the relevant authorities, the new Trans-Atlantic services are set to begin operations in February 2025.
