The 80,000 dwt multi-purpose grain carrier “Guo Yun Hai” has been delivered. China Classification Society (CCS) surveyed the vessel.
Dalian COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry built the ship for COSCO Shipping Development. It is the first vessel of its type developed in China for large-scale grain transport.
Advanced multi-purpose design
The vessel is nearly 230 meters long. It carries grain and other cargo. It uses advanced systems for load control, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
CCS supported the project from design to delivery. The vessel meets IACS UR E26 cyber-security standards. It also received CCS cyber-security certification.
Supporting efficient shipping
The ship improves transport capacity for grain and manufactured goods. It also supports safer and more efficient operations.
Industry collaboration
Shipowners, shipyards, and designers worked closely on the project. CCS provided technical support and on-site guidance.
The delivery strengthens China’s position in multi-purpose vessel development and modern shipping.
