Container vessel Singapore Express encountered incident in Italy

The Hapag-Lloyd operated container ship Singapore Express broke her moorings at Darsena Toscana container terminal in Livorno, Italy, on 6 March according to Maritime Bulletin.

A Hapag-Lloyd spokesperson confirmed to Container News that the charter vessel had an incident in the port of Livorno, adding that “There was no significant damage to the vessel or the Darsena Toscana container terminal.”

In the meantime, the 4,843TEU boxship has continued with its cargo operations and left Livorno on 7 March for Genoa. The Singapore Express is currently at Fos Sur Mer port, in France according to Maritime Traffic.
