Confirmation of Ever Given’s re-flotation

Technical manager Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM) has confirmed that the Ever Given has now been fully re-floated at approximately 15:00 hours local time.

[s2If is_user_logged_in()]A full assessment of the vessel will now be undertaken before it is towed north Great Bitter Lake for an inspection of its seaworthiness, said charterer Evergreen.

“The outcome of that inspection will determine whether the ship can resume its scheduled service. Once the inspection is finalised, decisions will be made regarding arrangements for cargo currently on board,” added the carrier.
