Collision in Ukraine between bulk carrier and general cargo ship

Bulk carrier Klc Erciyes struck portside of berthed general cargo ship Jasmin Queen while maneuvering to berth at Izmail port in Ukraine on 1 July, according to Maritime Bulletin.

Both ships seem to have suffered damage, but the extent of the damage remains unknown at the time of writing.

Cameroon-flagged cargo vessel Jasmin Quenn departed the port of Izmail on 4 July, bound for Alexandria, Egypt, but was berthed or anchored upstream from Tulcea, Danube, late on 4 July. Barbados-flagged Klc Erciyes remained at Izmail as of 5 July.
