CNC has introduced a revamped JPX service to improve connectivity between Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The updated service features an optimized port rotation and improved operational stability, offering faster transit times and greater flexibility for regional cargo flows.
One of the key improvements is an express link between Ningbo and the Malacca Straits, designed to accelerate cargo movement and support more efficient regional supply chains.
The revamped service also strengthens Japan’s export reach. Through improved transshipment connections via Ningbo and Singapore, Japanese cargo gains easier access to Southeast Asian markets and global routes.
In addition, the service now provides direct Manila coverage. Ships will connect Port Klang and Singapore directly with both Manila North and Manila South, reducing handling complexity and improving supply chain reliability.
Transit times between the Philippines and Japan have also been improved through the optimized port rotation. This upgrade supports time-sensitive cargo and helps shippers move goods more efficiently.
CNC stated that the service will operate with a stable fleet structure, ensuring consistent weekly sailings and improved schedule reliability across the full loop.

Port Rotation
Kobe – Nagoya – Tokyo – Yokohama – Ningbo – Singapore – Port Klang – Manila North – Manila South – Kobe
The first voyage under the revamped schedule will be performed by TB TAIYUAN (0IZOCN1NC) with an estimated arrival in Manila South on 16 March 2026.
CNC said the improved JPX service will provide stronger regional coverage while offering the reliability and flexibility needed by modern supply chains.
