CNC Line will implement an Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) for Intra-Asia shipments following a sharp rise in global fuel prices.

Fuel markets reopened on 2 March 2026, but prices surged due to ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Near and Middle East. The increase has significantly raised bunker costs across ocean transport.

Surcharge Details

The new surcharge will take effect on 16 March 2026 (loading date).

Rates per TEU:

  • Dry containers: USD 75

  • Flat Rack / Open Top / Tank / Special equipment: USD 75

  • Reefer containers: USD 90

Geographic Scope

The surcharge applies to shipments within Asia, including China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, and Bangladesh.

The surcharge will remain in place until further notice and may be adjusted based on regulatory requirements and market conditions.
