CMA CGM’s new service to link Adriatic, Eastern Mediterranean and Turkey

French ocean carrier CMA CGM has announced the start of a new service that is expected to serve the Adriatic market – BORA MED SERVICE (BMS).

The BMS is scheduled to commence on 23 December from the port of Antalya and will have a weekly frequency.

The port rotation of the new CMA CGM’s service will be Antalya (1/2) – Izmir – Aliaga – Ambarli – Gebze – Gemlik – Malta – Ancona – Ravenna – Venezia – Trieste – Koper – Rijeka – Bar – Taranto – Malta – Limassol – Alexandria – Beirut & back

“It [the BMS] will establish a sustainable maritime link between Türkiye, the Adriatic region, and the Eastern Mediterranean,” pointed out CMA CGM in a statement.

The Marseille-based box line will deploy six vessels on the service, each with a nominal capacity of 2,500 TEUs.
