CMA CGM has revised its Manaus Shuttle rotation in the Amazon region. The river port of Itacoatiara has been replaced with Macapa, and by the end of December, Fortaleza and Pointe-à-Pitre will also be removed. The updated rotation will serve Cartagena, Colon (Manzanillo), Macapa, Manaus, Macapa, Vila do Conde, and return to Cartagena.
In addition, CMA CGM’s Brazilian domestic operator Mercosul has ended its Montevideo–Argentina Atlas service. The weekly 1,000 TEU feeder previously called at Montevideo, Mar del Plata, Bahia Blanca, and back to Montevideo.
These changes reflect CMA CGM’s ongoing efforts to optimize feeder and regional services in South America.
