CMA CGM to drop Charleston from Indamex Service

CMA CGM has announced that it will remove the Port of Charleston from its Indamex service connecting the Indian Subcontinent to the US East Coast, effective next month, according to DynaLiners.

The weekly service, operated by a fleet of twelve vessels averaging 8,000 TEUs, will follow a revised port rotation: Port Qasim, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Colombo, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, and back to Port Qasim.

The adjustment reflects a strategic realignment of the Indamex loop, which continues to serve as a key corridor for trade between South Asia and the eastern seaboard of the United States.
