CMA CGM has announced a revised rotation for its Euraf5 service, which links the Gibraltar Straits with West Africa.
The reshaped route sees the removal of Luanda and Pointe Noire, replaced by calls at San Pedro (Côte d’Ivoire) and Dakar (Senegal), in a move designed to enhance service efficiency and market responsiveness.
As part of the revision, the fleet size has been reduced from six to five vessels, each with a capacity of around 4,500 TEU.
The updated port rotation is now: Tangier – Algeciras – Tema – Lekki – Cotonou – San Pedro – Dakar – returning to Tangier.
The changes reflect CMA CGM’s focus on streamlining its West Africa offerings and adapting to shifting cargo flows, while maintaining robust coverage across key regional ports in the Gulf of Guinea and West Africa.
